Iranian media reports reveal details about Mojtaba Khamenei’s health condition

Reports circulating on Iranian media platforms claim that Mojtaba Khamenei is currently receiving treatment at Sina Hospital in Tehran after reportedly sustaining serious injuries to the abdomen and legs during a strike that targeted an Iranian leadership bunker.
According to the circulating information, Khamenei is said to be on a ventilator and undergoing intensive medical care. The reports claim that he may not yet be aware of the outbreak of the war or of the deaths of several members of his family during the bombing, let alone the reports about him becoming the new Leader.
The same reports state that the surgery was performed by Dr. Zafarghandi, together with Dr. Mareshi, head of the surgery department at Shahid Beheshti University and the brother-in-law of former Iranian president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
The reports also claim that the appearance of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian two days ago alongside Dr. Zafarghandi was linked to a visit to check on Mojtaba Khamenei’s condition, and that he is reportedly aware of the situation involving Khamenei’s son.
According to these circulating accounts, security around Sina Hospital is extremely tight, with access to the ICU reportedly restricted to only a very limited number of individuals.
It should be noted that these claims have not been independently verified.
