Norwegian police say they have deployed significant resources near the U.S. Embassy in Oslo after a loud explosion was heard in the area.
Police received the report around 1:00 a.m. early Sunday morning.
According to Per-Ivar Iversen from the Oslo Police District, officers are in contact with the U.S. Embassy and no injuries have been reported so far.
He added that there is currently no clear information about what exactly happened or who might be involved.
